Okay, so a slight confession that I need to admit, my shoe game was WHACK! It involved a lot of black shoes ( granted it still does with some slight risks with grey and white marble ) but overall they made my outfits so dull.
I was one of those girls that would say shoes were very un-important ( don’t have my sister hear me say that) but its true, I cared more about my clothes than my shoes but growing more and more into investment pieces I have noticed that shoes add a MASSIVE part to a good rotational wardrobe. With my previous posts on my Nicholas Kirkwoods and Toga boots, I have found investing in a quality pair of shoes does the trick. Not only were shoes on the shoddy side but my trainers too, boy oh boy!
I would go through endless pairs of HnM or Misguided white trainers and thought it is about time I invested in a decent pair, so we will welcome the stan smith. Pretty much a cult trainer over the past few years, I can’t go wrong with these in my wardrobe … especially when bailing me out of my style ruts.
